Winter is finally here

Well, we have been spoiled with 60degree weather for too long and Mother Nature has finally come to realize that it is January. Last night was spent with a good friend and a walk, on a 50+ degree evening, the tides have changed and today we woke up to 20 degrees, 15-20mph winds and flurries. Quite the change, and that 3 block walk to class was filled with tears and frozen snot. Winter gave me a friendly smack to the face and a great look for 11am class. I must admit though that I have been missing the snow that Nebraska winters bring. The only thing that could make this introduction to winter better would be sharing the couch with a special someone and a big mug of hot chocolate!
